Firms line up for sewage PPP contract in Guarulhos Sao Paulo

Seven companies have submitted suggestions in a public consultation process initiated for a sewage public private partnership project  in the municipality of Guarulhos, in the state of São Paulo (Brazil).

The object of the PPP contract is the provision of public transport, treatment and disposal of sewage from the municipality urban area. The contract will involve capital investments, operation and maintenance of the sewage system

The public consultation took place during May and June 2013.

The list of companies that submitted suggestions is the following:

It is expected that the municipality, through the 'Serviço Autônomo de Água e Esgoto (SAAE)' will publish soon the final version of the tender documents.The concession will have a term of 30 years and the estimated value of the contract throughout the concession term is R$1.549 billion (US$678 million).See suggestions: http://www.saaeguarulhos.sp.gov.br:8081/tratamentodeesgoto/

    Five teams bid for Brazil airport concessions

    Invepar is one of the companies that submitted bids for the airports. Invepar's Chairman, Gustavo Rocha, confirmed the company was bidding but he didn't reveal other names in the consortium. Other sources said Invepar joined a consortium also composed by EcoRodovias (42.505 %) and Fraport (42.505 %).
