Toronto-listed engineer WSP Global has acquired the Quebec building engineering firm LGT. 

The acquisition of LGT strengthens service offerings, particularly in the education, cultural building and data centre sectors. This deal positions WSP to be an essential player in the building engineering consulting field in Quebec. 

LGT offers a wide range of building engineering services, including structural engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and energy efficiency consulting. LGT has more than 150 employees in Quebec City, Laval, Rimouski and Sept-Iles.  

WSP Global provides professional services in a range of areas, including transportation, infrastructure, environment, geomatics, and energy. Its services cover the entire project lifecycle, from planning and design through to construction and maintenance.
