wpd, Vjetroelektrana Budva sole bidder for tender of wind project in Brajici

The consortium of Germany's WPD Windmanager and a local company in Montenegro, Vjetroelektrana Budva, is the sole bidder for the tender launched for the construction of at least 70 MW wind project in Brajici. 

The consortium is planning to build a EUR100 (US$111 million) wind project on a million square meter plot of land in Brajici. It will have a total generating capacity of 100.8 MW and the consortium will pay an annual fee of at least EUR0.05 (US$0.055) per square meter.

Research and measurements of the wind farm's potential of the site was conducted between May 2013 and May 2015 and between November 2016 and November 2017 after the license issued by the government.
