World Bank has launched a request for expression of interest (RFEOI) seeking a consultant for Amman Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Phase II in Jordan.
The selected firm will carry out a preliminary study of the project and assess the potential for private sector participation through public-private partnership (PPP) options. Based on the findings and conclusions from this assignment, the Bank will have clarity on the available options for private sector participation and a recommended way forward.
Amman BRT Phase II is one of the three projects, focused on the development of three corridors inside Amman and between Amman and Zarqa. Each corridor includes terminals, stations and the roadway within which the BRT running way is placed. Phase II includes an 8.5-km line between Al Muhajereen terminal and Sports City.
The deadline to submit the responses is August 9, 2021. More information about this business opportunity can be found here.
