The World Bank Group (WB) has launched the Request for Expression of Interest (RFEOI) for the provision of independent due diligence consultancy services to the Nairobi-Nakuru-Mau Summit Highway PPP Project in Kenya.

The project involves an access-controlled 4-lane, 175-km road section of the A104 highway between Nairobi and Mau Summit.  The development is implemented under a design, build, finance, operate and maintain (DBFOM) delivery model. The Government of Kenya (GoK) has requested the World Bank to provide an IDA guarantee to the project company.

The selected company/firm will conduct an independent review of the technical, commercial, financial, and sectoral aspects of the highway project in support of the WBs due diligence. The scope of works includes reviewing preparations undertaken by the Government of Kenya and conducting necessary analysis (e.g., cost analysis and benchmarking). The services will be financed by the World Bank.

The deadline to submit the responses is June 14, 2021. More information about this business opportunity can be found here
