World Bank publishes 2021 PPI Annual Report

World Bank has published an annual report for PPI project performance across the globe. The 2021 PPI Annual Report entails an analysis of approximately 240 public-private partnership infrastructure projects. According to the report, private investment commitments in low- and middle-income countries have totaled US$76.2 billion in 2021, representing a 49% increase from 2020. This indicated that private investment in low- and middle-income country infrastructure is rebounding from the historic lows recorded in 2020.
