World Bank launches consultancy tender for MRT project in Kyiv

The Government of Ukraine in cooperation with the Worl Bank has launched a tender to deliver consultancy services for the development of The project involves the development of Troyeshina Rapid Transit corridor (TRT), a mass rapid transit project in Kyiv, under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) scheme. 

The selected firms will conduct a Private Sector Participation (PSP) evaluation of the project. The term of reference for the PSP evaluation will cover a project-related policy/regulatory/institutional reviews and a financial and economic feasibility assessment of different structuring options for the TRT. 

The TRT project is expected to provide an orbital route around the northeast of the city through Petrivka, Syrec, and Solomianskyi. One possible alignment in this corridor known as the MRT1A would provide access to the Troyeshina residential area and span approximately 20.6 km in length. 

The deadline for the submission of the documents is on May 6, 2019.
