The Airport Authority of India (AAI) has declared the lowest bidder for the civil construction work of a new terminal building at Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Airport in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India.

The new 34,346 sqm terminal, designed by AAI, will accommodate 1400 passengers during peak hours, featuring 4 aerobridges, 32 check-in counters, and 3 baggage claim belts. The expanded apron will handle 9 popular narrow-body aircraft. This expansion project within the Indian Air Force's Agra Station involves developing the civil enclave.

KSM Bashir submitted a winning bid of INR 3.4 billion (US$ 41 million) significantly below the AAI's INR 4.4 billion (US$ 53 million) estimate. KSM, who built the Polytechnic Depot of Kanpur Metro Line-1 and is actively involved in Indore Metro and Delhi-Meerut RRTS projects, will make its debut in the aviation sector with this project.
