The Yangon Elevated Expressway Committee has announced that the concession of Yangon Elevated Expressway phase 1 has reached to final screening stage and the winner will be announced in November 2020. The project was scheduled to be awarded in April 2020 but was delayed due to restrictions from Covid-19.
The authority had prequalified ten companies for the project, out of which three companies still remain in the competition.
