Proinversión has selected Celeo Redes as a winning company for the concession of two PPP projects in Peru- 138 kV Puerto Maldonado - Iberia Transmission Line and 220/60 / 22.9 kV Valle del Chira Substation. Both projects will help to meet the growing demand for electricity in Madre de Dios and Piura with efficiency and quality.
Celeo Redes offered a total investment cost of US$28,82 million for two projects, with a total cost for O&M of US$0,85 million. The projects will be implemented under the design, financing, construction, operation and maintenance (DBFOM) model. The concession period will be 30 years, plus the construction period of 28 months for the substation and 43 months for the transmission line. The commercial commissioning of both projects is scheduled for November 2023 and February 2025, respectively.
