Western Midstream Partners, LP (WES) announced the closing of the previously announced acquisition of Meritage Midstream Services II, LLC (Meritage).

The Meritage acquisition significantly enhances WES's existing asset presence in the Powder River Basin. This includes expanded gathering and processing facilities, a diverse customer base, and long-term contracts supported by minimum volume commitments and acreage dedications.

WES, a Delaware master limited partnership, was established to acquire, own, develop, and operate midstream assets. WES operates in various regions, including the Rocky Mountains, North-central Pennsylvania, Texas, and New Mexico. The company is involved in gathering, compressing, treating, processing, and transporting natural gas, as well as stabilizing, and transporting condensate, NGLs, and crude oil, along with gathering and disposing of produced water for its customers. Additionally, WES engages in buying and selling natural gas, NGLs, and condensate on behalf of itself and its customers under certain contracts.
