Webuild selected as SSTOM for Sydney Metro

The Sydney Metro has selected Webuild, as part of the Parklife Metro Consortium, as the preferred proponent for the stations, systems, trains, operations and maintenance (SSTOM) package for the Western Sydney Airport Metro project in Australia. 

Webuild has a 78% share of the Design and Construction (D&C) joint venture.

The Western Sydney Airport Metro project involves the development of a 23-km long metro line from St Marys to the new airport and the Western Sydney Aerotropolis. The metro line will have six stations located at St Mary, Orchard Hills, Luddenham, two stations within the airport site, at the airport terminal and at the airport business park, Western Sydney Aerotropolis.
