Washington state department of transportation (WSDOT) in the USA has issued a request for qualifications and quotes for the next phase of the Ultra-High-Speed Ground Transportation study. The transportation project will connect Vancouver in British Columbia, Canada to Portland, Oregon, USA.

The consultant will be responsible for the development of a governance framework which must result in recommendations needed to advance the
development of the high-speed corridor by, at a minimum: considering the roles of the two states and provincial jurisdiction in which corridor will be developed (Washington, Oregon, and British Columbia), including Canadian and U.S. federal governments and local jurisdictions; identifying specific responsibilities related to the project initiation, development, construction phases and program administration of the corridor; and meeting legislative requirements. The study also includes the development of a long term funding and financing strategy for the project initiation, development, construction and program administration of the high-speed corridor. The development of this strategy must build upon the Funding and Financing chapter of the 2019 Business Case Analysis and align with the governance framework recommendations.

The deadline to submit the qualifications is March 02, 2020. You can find more information about this RFQ on our business opportunity page here.
