Vinnytsia international airport passenger terminal reconstruction project unveiled

The city government of Vinnytsia announced the presentation of the project for the reconstruction of the Vinnytsia international airport passenger terminal in Ukraine.

UVT GROUP presented the concept of terminal reconstruction, which was commissioned by the city authorities. 

Project with an area of 11 thousand sq. m. m. provides for the redevelopment of premises, the addition of a third floor, a separate entrance for VIPs, two gates for sending passengers and the reconstruction of a bomb shelter. The terminal has a reinforced concrete frame and some floor panels will be dismantled to allow for the addition of the 2nd and 3rd floors. The project also provides for a fire and drinking water pumping station and a modern parking lot with places for electric cars. The capacity of the baggage system of the airport is up to 400 bags per hour.

It is planned to spend UAH2.2 billion (US$59.3 million) on the reconstruction of the airport in Vinnytsia, and almost UAH1 billion (US$26.9 million) on the reconstruction of the airfield.
