Vinci's subsidiary selected preferred bidder for Polish court PPP
Warbud SA, a subsidiary of Vinci, has been selected as the preferred bidder for the development of a court PPP project in Nowy Sacz, Poland.
The team beat out competition from other bidders through a proposal that involves a total project investment of PLN122.9 million (US$33.5 million). The second proposals, PLN138.8 million (US$37.8 million), was submitted by Hochtief PPP and the third, PLN149.4 million (US$40.7 million), was submitted by WHD z grupy NDI.
Other firms that bid for the project were Mota-Engil Central Europe PPP 2 and Aldesa Development.
The project involves the development of a new headquarters for the District Court in Nowy Sacz.
Nowy SÄ…cz is a town in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship in southern Poland. It is the district capital of Nowy SÄ…cz County. Nowy SÄ…cz is at the confluence of the Kamienica River into the Dunajec, about 20 kilometres north of the Slovak border.
Two weeks ago Vinci Aeroports S.A.S., along with Aeroports de Paris S.A. and Astaldi, was selected as the preferred bidder for the concession contract to expand and operate Santiago's international airport. The concession includes , among others, the development of a 200,00 m² new international passenger terminal. The total project investment is estimated at UF14.8 million (US$579.4 million).
