The subsidiary of Vinci in Poland, Warbud, has achieved financial close for the development of a secondary school project in the city of Piastow. 

In April 2019, Warbud has signed an agreement with the City of Piastow for the reconstruction and extension of Adam Mickiewicz High School. The company has secured financing from Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) advised by DCMS, Dentons, Rafał Cieślak. Warbud was advised by the international law firm CMS in connection with the project to expand the high school in Piastów.  

The works in the project include the construction of the sports section with a sports hall, construction of a new teaching section with a catering team, administrative rooms, the city library and modernization of the existing school facility. In the northern part of the plot, a new, three-story part of the building is planned, connected by a glass connector to the existing part. A sports hall building will be built in the southwestern part. The roof of a single-story part will act as a terrace and at the same time rest area for students. 

The construction of the project has already started.
