VINCI Highways, via its subsidiaries Cofiroute USA and TollPlus, launched the new CTRMA and NETRMA toll services management platform on 30 November 2018. CTRMA and NETRMA are the US government agencies in charge of transportation in 14 Texas counties.
To ensure successful operational rollout of this project, the VINCI Highways teams worked for six months to set up a new fully integrated service platform, including design and implementation of back-office interfaces with financial departments (toll collection and transmission) and government agencies (enforcement, interoperability), and customer relationship management.
This new platform will accommodate the changes introduced by the government agencies to improve the customer experience in freeflow systems by broadening payment options. CTRMA and NETRMA estimate that this new platform, which will be operated by VINCI Highways for the next five years, will allow a very significant decrease in enforcement costs.
