VINCI Airports has completed the modernization works for Toulon Hyères Civil and Military Airport in France.
The management and development of the civil aviation section of Toulon Hyères Airport include overseeing the terminal, public areas, aprons, and maintenance of the common runway infrastructure, which is under the jurisdiction of the French Navy base. The recent program focused on renovating the runways and taxiways, upgrading runway lighting, and ensuring compliance with water regulations. These initiatives aim to enhance the airport's environmental performance by implementing measures such as lamella separators to capture pollutants in water runoff and using recycled asphalt for the runways in accordance with eco-design and recycling standards.
This airport, under the management of VINCI Airports since 2015 through a 25-year concession agreement, is one of the three mixed-use airports in France, serving both civil and military purposes.
