Vinci Airports announces new investment for Porto Airport

With the increase of traffic growth of the Portuguese airports (from 30 million passengers in 2012 to more than 55 million in 2018), VINCI Airports has announced a EUR15 million (US$17 million) investment for Porto airport. 

This new investment will support Porto airport’s growth and will enhance Porto region development while offering continuously improved services to passengers.

In 2018, Porto airport welcomed 11.9 million passengers, a figure that represents a strong increase of 10.7% and developed new routes and new commercial offers. Airports Council International (ACI) has awarded Porto airport as "the best European Airport in the 5 to 15 million passenger category".
