VINCI Airports, a subsidiary of VINCI Concessions, and Corvinus, an investment fund fully owned and managed by the Hungarian State, have jointly signed and closed the acquisition of the concessionaire of Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport from a consortium of sellers composed of AviAlliance, Malton and CDPQ.

The 100% transaction is valued at EUR 3.1 billion (US$ 3.3 billion). VINCI Airports and Corvinus jointly acquired Budapest Airport on a proportional basis and maintained the company's existing debt. The concession has more than 55 years remaining, expiring in 2080. Corvinus will hold an 80% stake in the concessionaire, while VINCI Airports will own 20%. As the platform operator, VINCI Airports will manage the airport and implement its model to enhance the customer experience and foster traffic growth through strategic investments.
