The Port Authority of València (PAV) has received four bids for the tender to build the container quay in the northern extension of the Port of València, Spain.
The new container terminal will be located in the sheltered waters of the northern extension whose works were completed in 2012 and will have a surface area of some 137 ha and 1,970 m of berthing line, with a capacity to hold five million containers. The terminal will have modern design, technology and equipment, with a fully electrified facility, enabling it to handle the large container ships in service, with high performance in both maritime and land operations.
