The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) has issued a Request for Information (RFI) on the conceptual Public-Private Partnership (P3) delivery of specific USACE Civil Works projects.
USACE Civil Works has been directed to establish a Public-Private Partnership (P3) pilot program by the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works, following the Fiscal 2018 Appropriations Act Conference Report.
The goal of the pilot program is to demonstrate the viability of new delivery methods that can significantly reduce the cost and time of project delivery. The Corps is to identify up to 10 P3 pilot projects and provide guidance on the screening and selection criteria along with how the USACE Civil Works budget should be allocated to P3 projects.
The deadline to submit the interest is 2 April 2019. See the Business Opportunity for more information.
