The National Fund for Industrial and Technological Development (FNDIT), managed by BNDES, has launched with BRL 1 billion (US$ 175 million) to support industrial, scientific, and technological projects.
The FNDIT instituted the Green Mobility and Innovation Program (MOVER), the fund will raise funds from industrial policies to be applied in priority industrial, scientific and technological development projects, with a focus on decarbonization and energy transition.
BNDES is responsible for managing the BRL 1 billion (US$ 175 million) allocated to FNDIT. The funds can be distributed as non-reimbursable or reimbursable support. Once the program is operational, companies contributing to coordinating institutions must deposit funds exclusively into FNDIT via BNDES. The next phase involves identifying priority sectors and organizing public calls for project selection, ensuring alignment with the objectives of the New Industry in Brazil (NIB) initiative.
