SouthEast Development Group has submitted an unsolicited proposal for the Riverfront Jacksonville mixed-use development in Louisiana, USA.
Located on the Northbank of Downtown Jacksonville, the project is a multi-phased, mixed-use plan, consisting of a renewable energy facility, green areas, housing and other buildings. The proposal takes into account the expended version of the vision plan, released on June 01, 2021. The plan has an increased cost from US$1.1 billion to US$2 billion, and includes the following components:
A hydrokinetic green energy facility;
15 acres of riverfront public park and spaces with resiliency infrastructure;
More than 1,000 multifamily units;
A 208-room hotel;
90,000 square feet of Well-certified office space;
155,000 square feet of retail, restaurant and entertainment space;
A 280,000-square-foot Exhibition, Entertainment & Technology Center with retail and virtual venues;
4,500 structured parking spaces across five garages;
An expanded pier with retail and entertainment venues.
