The University of Chester in UK is set to launch a tender for the commercial development and on-going estate management at the 25 hectares Thornton Science Park within the campus.
The University of Chester is seeking a developer/investor partner to work collaboratively with the University of Chester in achieving its vision of developing the Thornton Science Park site by delivering an additional 400 000 sq ft of commercial floorspace. The University is also looking for a partner to deliver on-going estate management services at the site. The precise structure will be agreed with the developer/investor partner, but the partner will be required to enter into a development agreement and facilities management agreement with the University of Chester obliging the development partner to carry out works to the site in order to procure the development of the site and to also provide the on-going facilities management.
The contract notice for the project is set to be released by November 4, 2019.
