Palm Beach State College (PBSC), located in South Florida, has published a Request for Information (RFI) on the potential to provide a new Student Services Building on its Lake Worth campus. The college is considering entering into a public-private partnership (p3) agreement with a private party or parties to functionally: finance, design, build, operate and maintain the building.
On the Lake Worth Campus, the many student services are spread out among different buildings. Thus there is a need to provide more timely, efficient, and customer service oriented services to the students. The Student Services Building under consideration would function as a ‘one stop shop’ for admissions, registration, payment, financial aid, and advising as well as other student services is needed as well as supporting office space.
The preliminary estimated budget for the project is US$41 million. The building is proposed to be 90,000 gross square feet (8,360m2) in size. The college would consider allowing the responder to build out space for private purposes.
The deadline for submission of responses is 5 October 2018.
