UMass to issue campus development RFP
UMBA issued RFP for development of 1000 bed student housing of studio and one- and two-bedroom spaces at Massachusetts Avenue. UMass Building Authority (UMBA) is a public organization formed by the Massachusetts Legislature to facilitate the development of student facilities like student dormitories, dining facilities, and parking garages. UMass (University of Massachusetts) is a public research and grant university located in the Massachusetts state of USA.
The Committee on Administration and Finance of the UMass board of trustees voted to move forward with a process that will explore an arrangement between a private developer and the university for the development of 1000 bed student housing of studio and one- and two-bedroom spaces near Massachusetts Avenue.
