Ullico closes acquisition of Hope Gas

Hearthstone Holdings, Inc. (Hearthstone), a portfolio company of Ullico Infrastructure Fund (UIF), has announced the closing of an acquisition of 100% of the equity interests in West Virginia-based regulated gas distribution company Hope Gas, Inc. 

As a result of the transaction, holding company Hearthstone indirectly acquired Hope Gas from Dominion Energy, Inc. Hearthstone plans to move its headquarters to Morgantown, West Virginia. Hope Gas owns approximately 3,200 miles of mains and 2,000 miles of header pipes, serving more than 111,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers in 35 West Virginia counties.

Hearthstone owns and operates water and wastewater utilities in Arizona and Michigan and natural gas LDCs in Indiana, Ohio, North Carolina, Maine, and Montana. The company also provides natural gas production and natural gas marketing.
