Ukraine shortlisted four bidders for sea port PPPs on Black sea

Earlier this month the Ministry of Infrastructure in Ukraine has shortlisted four bidders for the port of Kherson and port of Olivia concessions. The two seaport projects are the Olvia Port located on the left bank of the Dnieper-Bug estuary, at a distance of 1.5 miles from Nikolaev and 37.6 miles from Ochakov and the Kherson Port situated 15.0 km from the mouth of the river Dnepr on its right bank, and is approached by going up the fairway of the Rvach river, up the Dnepr's Olkhovy arm, and the Dnepr itself.

Following are the bidders which will participate in the bidding process:

• Busserk Liman İşletme Loj. Hizm. LTD.ŞTİ Company;
• Special Sea Port of Kherson Company LLC (consortium of Ascet Shipping LLC – 40% – and Global Green LLC – 60%);
• Risoil-Kherson LLC (a consortium of PETRO OIL AND CHEMICALS LLC – 60%, which is part of Georgian industrial Group and RISOILS.A. JSC (Switzerland) – 40%;
• LLC UKRMORPORT (a consortium of KREMENCHUTSKY RIVER PORT PJSC – 10%, subsidiary enterprise YURAN LLC and DP YUROL LLC – 40% and JUSTICE & LO LLC – 50%).

The preferred bidder for the projects is expected to be announced in mid-January, 2020.
