The London Borough of Waltham Forest in UK has relaunched its tender for the mixed-use development project at a rail station in Walthamstow.
The project involves the construction of high-quality, residential-led mixed-use development and public realm at three sites adjacent to Lea Bridge Station, located in the Walthamstow district of East London. The scope of work includes the development of 300-320 homes; a minimum of 3,000 sq. m. of commercial cultural spaces and 750 sq. m. of public space. Further works include constructing a new entrance to the railway station. The scheme may involve providing some specialist and/or elderly housing.
The selected private developer partner will also be responsible for long-term and on-going property management of the commercial/cultural space.
The new tender deadline will end on May 9, 2019.
