The Uganda National Roads Authority has launched a tender notice seeking a private partner for Kampala - Jinja Expressway project.
The concession involves the development of a six-lane, 77 km limited access toll road between Kampala and Jinja. The private partner will be responsible for a design, build, finance, operate, maintain and transfer of the road. The concession period for the project is 30 years. The project aims to provide a good user experience in terms of riding surface, predictability of travel times and safety.
