The National Infrastructure Agency (ANI) of Colombia continues to advance the development of concession for the Avenida Longitudinal de Occidente (ALO) Sur project in Bogotá, which is part of the fifth generation concession projects (5G).
At the end of the stage of the Expression of Interest (EOI), two companies, Proyectos y Desarrollos Viales de Oriente SAS- Prodeoriente SAS and Promesa de Sociedad Futura ALO SUR SAS, will participate in the selection process to choose the winner of the contract.
The ALO Sur project involves the construction of a new 9.5 km road, 24.5 km of the second carriageway and the construction of two vehicular bridges over the Bogotá River, in addition to those existing in the Muña sectors and on the border of the Capital District. The duration of pre-construction is estimated to last one year and its construction four. The concession contract will be awarded for a period of 30 years.
