Quito Metro Metropolitan Public Company (EPMMQ) has received two bids in response to RFEOI seeking an operator for Quito Metro Network in Ecuador.
The selected bidder will be responsible for the operation and maintenance services of a metro network, including operation-related activities, traffic regulation, communications, security, provision of online support services and stations, maintenance of equipment as well as training education and technology transfer services. The metro network comprises 23 km of railway tracks with 15 stations providing services via 18 rolling stocks. The two bidders are Transdev consortium and Sao Paulo Metro.
EPMMQ is expecting to finalize the operator concession by August 2022.
