Oman Power & Water Procurement Company has received two bids for the Al Ghubrah III IWP project in Muscat. GS Inima and Sumitomo/Malakoff have emerged as the bidders for the project.
This independent water project (IWP) involves the development of a desalination plant with a capacity of approximately 300,000 m3 per day, to be located at Al Ghubrah, Muscat, near the existing Ghubra IWP. The project will be developed on a build, own and operate (BOO) basis.
