Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Aramco) has received two bids for the development of independent wastewater treatment plant (IWTP) in Ras Tanura complex.
The plant will have an initial capacity of 185,000 cubic meters per day. It will also include a 22 km-long treated sewage effluent (TSE) pipeline to reinject treated water back to Zuluf oil field. The companies interested in the project are Metito and Miahona.
Aramco has appointed Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) as financial advisor, White & Case as legal consultants, and ILF Consulting Engineers as technical consultants for the project.
