Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC), which is driving the development of Qiddiya Saudi Arabia’s Capital of Entertainment, Sports and the Arts, has received two proposals for the Utility package PPP project of the Qiddiya entertainment city. The deadline for proposals was set to June 30.

This project includes the development of the utilities system in Qiddiya entertainment city. The utility package involves the construction of infrastructure to provide solar power generation and distribution, Potable water generation & Distribution, Wastewater network & treatment, Irrigation water distribution, District Cooling, Solid Waste Management, Associated administration buildings and Information Communications Technology (ICT).
Qiddiya entrainment city is a planned city in Saudi Arabia to facilitate needs for entertainment, sports and the arts of current as well as future generations. The city will involve more than 45 projects and 300 activities in the sectors of creativity, hospitality, entertainment and sport. The city will be located 45 km southwest of Riyadh City Centre along Makkah road.
