Two bidders expressed interest for expansion of health services at Víctor Ramos Guardia Hospital

The Private Investment Promotion Agency (PROINVERSIÓN) has announced that two bidders have expressed interest in the modernization and expansion of health services at the Víctor Ramos Guardia Hospital in Huaraz, Ancash, Peru.

The endeavor aims to enhance outpatient consultation, emergency services, obstetrics, surgical care, hospitalization, intensive care, clinical pathology, diagnostic imaging, rehabilitation, nutrition, chemotherapy, pharmacy, sterilization, hemodialysis, and chemotherapy services. The hospital will accommodate 288 beds for hospitalization, 20 for emergency care, 18 in the obstetrics unit, 16 in the surgical center, 51 in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 10 for chemotherapy, and 16 for hemodialysis. Additionally, it will include 66 functional offices, 13 emergency rooms, 2 shock trauma rooms, and 7 operating rooms. The estimated investment for the project is approximately PEN 1,044 million (US$ 262).

To date, two bidders have expressed interest in the project, the telecommunications company Win Empresas and Compañía Minera Antamina (in a possible consortium with Engie, Aeropuertos del Perú, Komatsu Mitsui or Ferreyros).
