The Ministry of Energy, Uzbekistan has announced the names of the 12 firms that have been pre-qualified for the development of a 200 MW wind PPP Project in the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

The Pre-qualified firms are as follows:

2. CWA Power Company
3. Concord New Energy Group Limited
4. Consortium of China Datang Overseas Investment Co. Ltd. and Goldwind International Holdings
5. Consortium of GD Power Development Co. Ltd. and China Shenhua Energy Company Limited 
6. EDF Renewables
7. Eksim Enerji Anonim Şirketi
8. Gaia Energy Limited
9. ReNew Vyan Shakti Private Limited
10. The Kansai Electric Power Company 
11. Universal Energy Co. Ltd
12. Voltalia SA

The selected firm will be responsible for the design, development, engineering, procurement, supply, construction, financing, commissioning, owning, operating, maintaining, and decommissioning or transferring of the project.
