Turner Construction Company has announced that Agilent Technologies selected the company to build a US$725 million pharmaceutical manufacturing plant to produce active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) in Frederick, Colorado, USA.
The 200,000 sq ft production facility will produce pharmaceutical ingredients such as synthetic oligonucleotides, which help treat cancer and cardiovascular disease. The project is designed to improve care for people facing a wide range of health problems. The project will be built in accordance with Process Safety Management (PSM) standards.
The project is planned to be completed in 2026.
