National Infrastructure Agency (ANI) in Colombia has announced the completion of boring works for the Pamplonita and La Honda tunnel. These tunnels are part of 62.6 kilometers long Pamplona - Cucuta highway. The construction works for the concession are underway and almost 53% complete.
Located in Functional Unit 3, 1,071 meters long Pamplonita tunnel is part of the second road between Pamplonita and El Diamante. The tunnel is completed by 35.37%. Such work activities as coating, waterproofing, placement of granular bases and filters, installation of rigid concrete pavement and electromechanical installations are under progress.
The Honda tunnel is part of Functional Unit 5 and has a total length of 406 meters. It is located between the sectors of La Don Juana-Los Acacio. The construction works for this tunnel are 30% completed.
