Trill Impact to acquire stake in Infrakraft Sverige AB

Рrivate equity firm Trill Impact has acquired a stake in infrastructure company Infrakraft Sverige AB. 

The companies did not disclose details of the deal. The purpose of the deal is for Trill Impact to support the development of Infrakraft and continue to build safer rail systems to reduce Sweden's GHG emissions by 70% by 2030 and reach zero emissions by 2045. The deal will also create new transportation systems to replace Sweden's old rail systems. Trill Impact's investment in Infrakraft is one step towards addressing the social and environmental challenges identified by the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Infrakraft Sverige AB is an infrastructure company specializing in the construction and maintenance of railways, turnouts, railway crossings, bridges, tunnels and platforms with adjacent territories. Infrakraft's operations generate around SEK 1.9 billion (US$176.1 million) in revenue per year.
