Transurban reaches financial close on acquisition of A25

Transurban has announced that it has reached financial close on the acquisition of the A25 toll road asset and concession in Montreal, Canada.

A25 is a toll road and bridge that opened to traffic in May 2011. The A25 Concession with the Ministère des Transports, de la Mobilité durable et de l'Électrification (MTQ) features hybrid toll and availability payment plus guaranteed toll income and ends in 2042. The project comprises 1.2km, 6-lane bridge over the Riviere des Prairies, total of 6.0km of 4-lane roadway on either side of the bridge.
