Infranode has signed a EUR75 million (US$81.49 million) transaction agreement to acquire 100% of MPY Telecom.
This investment is in line with Infranode's strategy of acquiring vital infrastructure assets and establishing long-term partnerships with local and regional communities. MPY Telecom, owners and operators of digital core infrastructure in Finland holds a prominent position in the market. The company boasts a diverse customer and asset portfolio, which includes over a hundred telecom towers and extensive fibre and coaxial networks in Eastern Finland. With its well-established fibre and telecom tower assets, the company has a solid regional presence.
The completion of the transaction is contingent upon the seller's general meeting approval and the necessary authorization from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment in Finland. It is anticipated that the transaction will be finalized in the second half of 2023.
