The Tanzania Ports Authority (TPA) has appointed Maritime and Transport Business Solutions (MTBS) as a lead consultant for the Dar Es Salaam Port public-private partnership (PPP) project in Tanzania.
MTBS is responsible for conducting a feasibility study and transaction services for the development of two new container berths.
In the preparatory phase, MTBS’ scope of work included technical due diligence, trade forecasts and preparation of strategic options, financial modeling and PPP implementation.
