The Tanzania Ports Authority (TPA) has announced the delay in the tender process of the Dar Es Salaam Port public-private partnership (PPP) in Tanzania.

TPA is in the process of redesigning the project, after the disqualification of two Chinese contractors. The redesigning will help to determine the construction process, further timelines and select a partner for the development of the project. TPA has appointed a German consultant to redesign the project, who remains unnamed.
