Three teams shortlisted for Western Sydney Airport Metro PPP

The Government of New South Wales has shortlisted three teams for the contract package for the Western Sydney Airport Metro PPP project in Australia.

The Stations, Systems, Trains, Operations and Maintenance (SSTOM) package is expected to be awarded by the end of 2022 and is the third one to be procured for the project. The successful team will be responsible for the construction of six new metro stations and elements of the surrounding precincts, the stabling and maintenance facility as well as the provision of the rail infrastructure and systems. Three shortlisted teams are the following:

  • Bradfield Metro- John Laing Limited, Keolis Downer Pty Ltd, FCC Construction Australia Pty Ltd and Hitachi Rail STS Australia Pty Ltd.;
  • Parklife Metro- Plenary Origination Pty Ltd, Webuild SpA, RATP Developpement SA, Siemens Mobility Pty Ltd, Siemens Mobility GmbH, Siemens Project Ventures GmbH and Siemens Mobility Austria GmbH.;
  • WestGo- Pacific Partnerships Pty Ltd, Acciona Concesiones, S.L., DIF Management Australia Pty Ltd, CPB Contractors Pty Limited, Acciona Construction Australia Pty Ltd, UGL Engineering Pty Ltd, ComfortDelGro Transit Pte. Ltd, UGL Rail Services Pty Ltd and Coleman Rail Pty Ltd.
