Three consortia shortlisted for Frankston hospital redevelopment PPP

Victorian Health and Human Services Building Authority in Australia has shortlisted three consortia to deliver the AUD 562 million (US$ 399 million) Frankston Hospital redevelopment. The shortlisted bidders are :

  • Exemplar Health – comprising Capella Capital, Lendlease, Honeywell, and Compass
  • Plenary Health – comprising of Plenary Group, Multiplex, and Spotless
  • Pulse Health Partnership – comprising John Laing, Watpac, and Serco Australia

In the coming months, the shortlisted consortia will begin preparing detailed proposals to deliver the redevelopment, as part of a comprehensive tender process. The successful bidder is expected to be announced in early 2022, with the construction of a new multi-story tower to start shortly after.  Construction of the main tower is due to be complete in late 2024, and the redeveloped hospital treating patients in early 2025.
