The Infrastructure Ontario (IO) and the Ministry of the Attorney General (MAG) have announced three prequalified teams that are invited to respond to a Request for Proposals to design, build, finance and maintain the Halton Region Consolidated Courthouse.

Teams will now begin preparing proposals that detail how they will deliver the project. Once submissions are received, IO and MAG will evaluate the proposals, select a preferred bidder and then negotiate a final contract. A successful bidder is expected to be announced in early 2020.
The selected private partner will design, build, finance and maintain a new, 21-courtroom facility in the Halton region on Ontario, south-east Canada. The courthouse will offer a broad range of justice, family, social and victim services, and replace the existing Superior Court of Justice and Ontario Court of Justice in Milton and Burlington, consolidating operations at one accessible location.
