The Lumbo Spring Bulk Water Supply project of the San Pablo City Water District (SPCWD) and Dolores Water District (DWD) of Quezon Province attracted three prospective bidders during the submission of eligibility documents on January 14, 2020, at the SPCWD office in Laguna.
The 3 prospective bidders that submitted their eligibility documents for the proposal to finance, construct, operate and maintain the water PPP project are (1) Quellwasser Development Corporation, (2) Texin Incorporated, and (3) Laguna AAAWater Corporation and Tubig Pilipinas Group, Inc.
The Lumbo Spring Bulk Water Supply Project involves the design, construction, and installation of raw water intake structures, treated water reservoir, conveyance system, pumping stations, metered interconnections facilities to SPCWD in Laguna and DWD in Quezon., security perimeter fencing, and the Lumbo Spring as water resource located within the Municipality of Dolores.
The joint venture project with a 20-year concession period is expected to improve water service delivery of SPCWD and DWD, augment the existing water supply of both water districts, and provide safe and potable water supply
