The Government of Colorado has received three bids in response to its tender for the Global Energy park PPP concession located adjacent to the U.S. National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL).
The scope of work involves the design, construction, finance, operation, and maintenance of an adaptive and flexible facility structure at a 9.37-acre land parcel which will utilize smart, green building technologies to yield a high-performance, sustainable, net-zero facility. The park will facilitate showcasing of research breakthroughs and will have capacity to support up to 100 visiting partners. The campus is expected to serve as epicenter of collaboration between industry, government and academia.
